What is the Salsa Ranking? |
Salsa Ranking is a free information service provided by Nueva Danza Management that monthly updates the list of the most visited salsa websites in the world based on objective data taken from Google and Alexa.

How is the Salsa Ranking calculated? |
For each website in the list, several factors are obtained: the alexa rank, the google pagerank and the position of the website while searching for the keyword "salsa".
These factors are combined in the following way:
(Alexa Ranking) * (Salsa keyword Search) / 10^ (google pagerank).
The calculated value of each website can be seen rolling over the flags.

What are the ranking widgets?
|
Each website in the ranking will have its own auto-generated ranking widget displaying its rankings (national, (european, if applicable) and worldwide).
In order to display the ranking widget in the website, the following widget code has to be added (replacing XXX with the id of the website, displayed in the last column (widget ID)"):

All the Salsa Rankings are updated monthly.

Which websites can be added to the Salsa Ranking?
|
All the websites related to salsa music can be included in the salsa ranking but those not owning its domain. Subdomains of hosting platforms or personal websites at social networks cannot be included as the data wouldn't be accurate.

How can a new website be submitted?
|
New websites can be submmited using the submission form in the top menu.
